Wonderful interview. Agree with everything Justine D. has said. Watched this trend for 30 plus years and always opposed it. And yes I was pushed outnof groups and organizations in the Bay Area for my gender critical Lesbian centered views. Lesbians went sheepishly along as their girlfriends and friends transitioned to FTM and as mtfs were allowed into our circles and organizations. Only

a circle of Michfesties held firm.

But quietly and secretly some said they agreed with my views but too cowardly to stand up. Until it was too late.

The " Cotton Ceiling" debacle with Planned Parenthood hosting mtfs did radicalize a number of Lesbians as to what we lost and that they wouldnt succumb to MTFs pressuring them to have sex with them and call themselves Lesbians!!

Many of us Lesbians who attended Michfest, wrote NCLR, HRC and NGTLF the big Lesbian/ Gay orgs pushing gender ideology at Lesbian expense ESPECIALLY WHEN they signed onto a boycott of Michfest led by a bisexual woman and her organization in Michigan.

Kate Kendall of National Center for Lesbian Rights backed off, even though they have a Transgender Law Center led by Shannon Minter, an FTM. The other two big gay orgs did not.

More Lesbians attended Michigan Womyns Music Festival THAN ANY OTHER EVENT FOR LESBIANS IN THE WORLD....which we pointed out in our letters.

Lisa Vogel decided 2015 would be the last Michfest and I made a point to attend.
