Are you a video game lover? Are you Lesbian, Gay, or Bisexual? Well, here are my Top 5 video games for you!
By: Dani
Haven

Available on: Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows
In this futuristic world, you play as two forbidden lovers, Yu and Kay.
Yu and Kay escape from the Apiary, a system of planets ruled by a singular organization that forces its citizens into arranged marriages with a matchmaker. The people in the Apiary have little freedom, so Yu and Kay flee and escape to an uninhabited, abandoned planet where they learn to survive, live together, and love each other freely.
Play as Yu and Kay and explore the planet while searching for materials and parts to fix the Nest (the ship) to make it a home.
Fight off those trying to tear you apart with synchronized combat to keep your love strong and alive.
This game also gives you the option to pick between three versions of this power couple!

Two of these versions of the couple include a gay version and a lesbian version of the couple. This game is a great recommendation for any LGB person who’s into Sci-fi RPGs!
Fire Emblem Engage

Available on: Nintendo Switch
In this fantasy RPG, you play as the Divine Dragon, Alear, after awakening from a thousand-year slumber to save the world of Elyos from an ancient evil.
Fight the corrupted, gather and engage with emblem rings that summon heroes of the past, defeat the Fell Dragon, and form relationships with a whimsical cast of characters.

In this game you can choose between being a male version or female version of Alear, and you can romance a selection of the game’s characters, regardless of the character’s sex.

Also an honorary mention to a character that isn’t a romance candidate but is gay coded and is a very feminine guy character, Rosado. Guys can be “feminine,” too!
Rune Factory 5

Available on: Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows Steam
In this game, you play as one of two protagonists: Ares, the male protagonist, or Alice, the female protagonist.
You play as a protagonist who has lost his/her memory and begins to live in a small village called Rigbarth. In Rigbarth, you meet a cast of characters that includes humans, elves, dwarves, were-animals, and more!
As the protagonist, you are a special kind of human known as an earthmate!
In this game, you will defeat and tame monsters, harvest materials, have your own garden, and fall in love! (You can romance characters regardless of sex.)
Story of Seasons

Available on: Nintendo Switch
Any Story of Seasons games available on the Switch are excellent choices!
There are three games in this series available to choose from on the Nintendo Switch: Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, and Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. My personal favorite is Pioneers of Olive Town! I just really like the art style. In each game, you inherit a farm and move into a new town with a cast of unique characters! You can watch the seasons change and enjoy talking to the villagers every day!

These games are for the more relaxed, cozy gamers who want a chill gaming experience. You’ll craft, farm, build relationships, and fall in love!
Each Story of Seasons game allows same-sex romance between the protagonist and the romance candidates.
These are great farming games that make you feel at home.
Stardew Valley

Available on all platforms
The farming game classic! Stardew Valley.
The game most popular among the girls and the gays.
Stardew Valley is one of the coziest games to play! It is perfect to play on a rainy day with a good blanket and a nice scented candle. In Stardew Valley you inherit a farm, much like in Story of Seasons, and you begin to live in a town with a cast of unique characters full of personality. You’ll craft, farm, and fall in love. Romance candidates are available regardless of your character’s sex. This game deserves its popularity, and it deserves to finish this list!
There you have it, my Top 5 game recommendations for LGB gamers!!
I loved introducing these amazing games to you all, and I hope you’ll try them out!
The purpose of this was to make it easier to find games for LGB individuals since our representation has been buried under “LGBTQIA+” and “Queer.” These are game recommendations for homosexual and bisexual men and women without the extraness.
Happy Gaming!

Definitely liked stardew valley. Not a huge fan of the anime art style myself but I’m in my 40’s so… :)
Brilliant, thank you!
